Hi, I'm Ms. Lisa!

I'm a homeschool mom (13+ years), trained in-classroom educator (5+ years) and a one-on-one reading and writing coach (2+ years).

As the owner of Spark Literacy Tutor LLC, I help elementary-aged children end their reading and writing struggles by sparking their interests with a fun, hands-on approach: interactive games, mnemonic songs, celebratory dancing, and any tactile and kinesthetic activities that will fully engage your child.

Plus, I offer enrichment lessons for exceptional and gifted learners. From my homeschool mom experience to my educational training with a bachelor's of science degree in Speech Language Pathology, I’m primed and pumped to motivate your child to read more accurately and write stronger sentences!

When I'm not preparing or instructing lessons, you can find me playing Animal Crossing, randomly dancing, singing, or giggling to my heart's content. I love traveling and playing fun, strategic group games with my family. Oh, and add in sweet potatoes for a perfect day! Yum!
